The Best Games to Stream Right Now (July 2021)

Hello creators! Welcome back to the Best Games to Stream Right Now for July 2021! We are into the summer grind times, which means you want to make sure you are streaming games that will bring new viewers in. Luckily for you, there have been a couple huge updates to major games that we have talked about here before. If you ended up playing those games, now might be a great time to pick them up again and run through new content!

Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life

Have you ever played Sea of Thieves and thought “This is fun, but it’d be even better if Jack Sparrow was in the game.” Well luckily for you, Rare and Disney have FINALLY made that a possibility with Sea of Thieves’ new story, A Pirate’s Life. This expansive, five part quest partners you with the quick-witted Jack Sparrow as you steal treasure and avoid the wrath of Davy Jones.

There’s not much else to say really. Pirates of the Caribbean is finally in Sea of Thieves! This has been a long awaited partnership that started as early as the Closed Beta. The story parts of A Pirate’s Life take a while to go through, so it provides hours of fun content with you and your community. You can also grind rep and do side quests during the main story line for extra commendations. If there was ever a time to drop sails and head for treasure on the high seas, now is it!

Escape from Tarkov

Escape from Tarkov is a highly tactical, FPS game that has really popped off as of the last year or so. The high risk, high reward gameplay makes it very enjoyable to watch and provides a sense of urgency with its slow paced gameplay. You can loot some amazing items, but in most circumstances: if you die with it, you lose it.

At Summer Game Fest 2021, the devs of Escape from Tarkov said that a server wipe would be happening soon and bring about new features to the game. That wipe happened last week and with it a whole new chapter of Escape from Tarkov has come. This is a great time to get started with Escape from Tarkov (if you like these types of games), or to begin the grind once more! With the summer hours of streaming/gaming ahead, this is a great opportunity to get the grind in and bring the consistency people are looking for.

Phasmophobia

We couldn’t leave out some games for our horror game streamers out there! Luckily for you, the popular ghost hunting game, Phasmophobia has launched a new update!

In Phasmophobia, you visit different locations and try to collect evidence of the paranormal. There are different paranormal beings that can be found and you have to use different events to determine what you are up against. Using items from notebooks to EMF readers you must keep your sanity while hunting these paranormal beings.

While available on PC, you can also play Phasmophobia on VR. This allows for a much more integrated and funny experience for you as the streamer. It also provides a lot more clip worthy gameplay to happen and be shared. Look into that if you want to try and drive up engagement.

This summer is going to be a wonderful time to capture new viewers who want to find fresh creators to follow. Playing games you used to play, currently play, or never played before that have updates and new features could be a great way to appeal to these people. Games like Escape from Tarkov are wiping every player to allow for a new experience. Meanwhile, Sea of Thieves and Phasmophobia are adding even more content to their popular games to keep the players coming back for more.

If you have other games that you think should be on the list , let us know in the comments! We might feature them on our next article!

Thanks for reading and as always, keep on creating and GLHF!
