Hello creators! Welcome back to the Best Games to Stream Right Now for December 2021! As we round out the year, there are some great titles that dropped earlier and some that have new DLC coming at the beginning of next year that you’ll want to start preparing for now. Let’s take a look at some of the games you should be looking at for December!
Marvel’s Avengers
If you are a fan of Marvel’s Avengers, or just want to give Spider-Man a go, now is a great time to jump back into Crystal Dynamic’s Marvel’s Avengers game.
First off, the highly anticipated Spider-Man event is live for the game. Though it is for PlayStation only, this is a great opportunity to give New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man a go! Especially if you enjoyed the War for Wakanda event earlier, this should play very similarly.
One of the gripes we’ve heard is that the gameplay of Spider-Man isn’t as fluid as Insomniac’s take. However, with the ability to play so many different heroes and using them to drive chat engagement through Twitch channel points, Marvel’s Avengers still is a great game to play on stream. Give it a go for a fun, non-serious game that you enjoy with chat.
Cyberpunk: 2077
Before we get into it, yes, we meant to put Cyberpunk: 2077 on this list! We know how badly it was received at launch, but trust us, it’s time to knock the dust off Cyberpunk: 2077. Here’s why.
Cyberpunk, much like No Mans Sky, launched with a lot of issues. Its gameplay was solid, but was riffed with bugs and crashes that made it almost impossible. However, over the last couple months, CD Projekt Red has tackled a lot of the major issues that have messed with the game and turned it around. Even Steam reviews have it in favorable terms lately.
In their Q3 2021 Earnings, CDPR announced that part of their staff has now moved toward a next-gen and DLC team to handle all of the new content coming to Cyberpunk: 2077. They intend to have a large scale update in the first month of 2022, which is why now is a great time to get started. If you enjoyed Cyberpunk: 2077, use this time to build up your character and get them prepared for DLC. Use your chat to build out your story and character. The more invested they are in the development of your character, the more they will show up when the new content drops in a couple months.
Halo Infinite
We couldn’t leave our favorite Spartan out of the mix as earlier in November, Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer was fully launched in beta.
If you are into Halo, Infinite is a breath of fresh air into a tried and true genre. The maps and weapons feel great, the customization is awesome, and the gamemodes harken back to the good ol’ days of Halo that so many people had when they first started.
The only issue to look out for is the battle pass is very slow in progression, but is being tweaked for a more casual experience. But you can use stream time to build that out and have chat help you customize your character out.
Whether you are an FPS creator, or story based, there are a ton of awesome games and DLC coming your way. Halo Infinite offers a new take on the genre, while Marvel’s Avengers and Cyberpunk: 2077 gear up for new DLC.
But what do you think? What games are you planning on sinking all your time into as we are fully into the holiday game season? Let us know in the comments down below and we might add it on our next list!
Thanks for reading, keep on creating, and GLHF!
