We are back once again with some of the best games you can stream right now for September 2020. We know how difficult streaming can be, and that’s without worrying about the type of content you will be playing. We want you to focus on your personality, so we found a couple titles that you can play right now that can assist you with viewership and chat engagement. This month, we focused on a new breakout game and a couple larger titles that have some real ability to bring in engaged and active viewers. Take a look!
Among Us
Among Us is a fun, multiplayer game that focuses on fixing a ship with 4-10 other people. The kicker though is that some individuals are a murderer and their goal is to kill off the crew while not being found. Individuals can hold meetings during the match to discuss who they think the bad guy (or guys) are. The goal is to fix the ship and find out who the murderer is and expel them into space.
This is a really fun game to play on stream because you can bring your community in on the fun. With up to 10 slots for players, you can easily rotate individuals in and out to play. The uncertainty of the murderer provides a really fun and stressful environment for the streamer. It will be engaging and fun to watch for the viewer, leading to higher concurrents overall.
World of Warcraft
If you are into World of Warcraft, but haven’t played in a while, now might be the time to jump back in! WoW is set to launch their next expansion on October 27th with World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. As a result, the pre-patch event will be coming in just a couple weeks. If you plan to stream WoW content into the next expansion, getting your character together, tying up loose ends, and finishing any achievements is a great time. It isn’t too taxing, so you can talk with and interact with chat. However, it provides a list of some “housekeeping” chores in the game to make sure you are ready. You can also use this to build your WoW following going into Shadowlands so you have more concurrents and viewers on launch.
Fortnite
We don’t typically like focusing on huge games because they are typically saturated. However, Fortnite has put out some new content that is tied directly to Marvel, which can be huge for growth. Everyone knows Fortnite, but they put a huge twist in with the latest update called “The Nexus Wars”. You can actually play as Iron Man, Thor, and Groot (among other large Marvel characters!). It’s a cool update and if you focus on hero content, it could bring a nice spike in viewership. It also plays well into your target market!
While this month’s content focuses on some larger titles, there is no reason why you can’t use their popularity to your advantage. Breakout games like Among Us are great for viewer engagement and interaction, while World of Warcraft and Fortnite bring new content to the table that will help bring in long time fans as well as newcomers. If you have other games you’d suggest people try, let us know in the comments down below! We might just feature them in our next segment!
As always, keep on creating and GLHF!
