Hello creators! Welcome back to the Best Games to Stream Right Now for October 2021! There are so many amazing titles that just dropped or are coming in the next month that getting into them now could result in some amazing traction and growth for you and your community. Let’s take a look!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)
Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock, most creators have heard of Modern Warfare 2019. Not only was it Call of Duty’s previous title before Black Ops Cold War, but its engine and gameplay style were used to make Call of Duty: Warzone. So why should you be playing Modern Warfare 2019? Well the new Call of Duty is right around the corner of course!
Call of Duty: Vanguard is launching at the beginning of November and was created from the ground up with the Modern Warfare 2019 engine. Though some of the gameplay and feel will be different, a lot of the gameplay feels very close to Modern Warfare 2019. If you play FPS games for your channel or plan to play Vanguard on launch, getting back into the swing of things with Modern Warfare 2019 is a great way to lead the hype into November for Vanguard.
New World
One of the largest games going into Q4 of 2021 is Amazon Game’s first game, New World. New World is an MMORPG where you build up your character and progress by completing quests, dungeons, and raids. Though New World has seen a major problem with server overload and 10+ hour queues, its gameplay and possibilities for content creators are well worth the small investment of $40.
Unlike Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft, that require a monthly subscription fee, New World is a one-time purchase. What’s great about this too is their dev team has openly expressed that they want to build on New World with new content, so the investment for such a large scale game with constant updates is really very low. As per usual, MMOs provide you a great opportunity to connect with chat, get them involved in the character creation, and allow them to help mold the character as you level and progress. Plus it helps that it has so much hype around it!
DEATHLOOP
What do you get when you mix time loops, assassinations, and awesome powers together. Well you get DEATHLOOP of course!
DEATHLOOP is a first-person, action adventure game where you are stuck in a timeloop of 1 day. The focus is to assassinate 8 members of a group called the Visionaries before the day is over. To make matters difficult, these individuals have told everyone on the island of Blackreef to kill you. The goal is to use your skills, knowledge of previous timeloops, and other clues to piece together the perfect assassination of all 8 members to break out of the loop before the end of the day. But mind you, the Visionaries aren’t keen to die and won’t give you the kill easily.
What’s great about DEATHLOOP is there are so many ways to go about each loop. Maybe you want to spend time breaking into a safe located in club. Maybe you want to investigate the mysterious message being broadcast every morning. You have so many ways to tackle each day, so it never gets boring for chat. You can even bring them in to help accomplish tasks or pick the direction for each loop. The possibilities are endless.
As Q4 rolls in and the gaming scene is rife with new titles, this is a great opportunity to prep or spread your wings with these new games.
Games like Modern Warfare 2019 will help prep you for Call of Duty: Vanguard, while New World and DEATHLOOP provide a unique experience for each community and player. But what do you think?
