The Best Games to Stream Right Now – August 2020

It’s August and we are back with the best games to stream on your channel! We take the hard work out of finding new and fun games to play so you can focus on making awesome content. This month, we wanted to focus on games that get your community engaged, while also allowing you to leverage features like channel points. From fun and quirky, to scary and puzzle focused, we found three great titles to take a look at. Check them out!

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

If you are looking for a fun, multiplayer party game, look no further than Fall Guys! The goal is simple, qualify and stay alive as you take on obstacles, puzzles, and races to be the last person alive. Think Mario Party, but only the mini games! You have to qualify each round by completing certain objectives or timers. If you do, you are good to go. If you don’t, well better luck next time.

This type of game is great for community engagement and making use of channel points! You can use this game to play with your community or even have consequences in your channel points for if you don’t win. Maybe you take a swig of hot sauce if you lose or people can buy spots into the lobby by using channel points. Best of all, if you play on Playstation 4, its part of the PS Plus Free Games for August!

House on the Hill

If creepy games are more your style, check out House on the Hill which just released on July 29th! House on the Hill is a first-person horror story game, where you are a thief trying to steal rare jewels from an old mansion. You need to escape with the jewels, but the house won’t let you.

What’s really unique about this game is that every walkthrough is unique. You can escape (or not escape) from the house multiple times using different methods. You can also go a whole playthough without exploring certain parts of the house, which makes it especially nice for repeatability on stream. With the community in mind, you can use this game to help them decide how you will tackle each escape, which helps with engagement with the chat. Plus, who doesn’t like to watch their favorite streamer scream their head off at a jump scare.

Rogue Company

Rogue Company is a new third person title from Hi-Rez Studios. Rogue Company features round based gameplay, similar to CS:GO and Valorant, where you can buy weapons after each round. There are a ton of weapons to master including melee, SMGs, snipers, ARs and so much more. The game is currently in beta and you can sign up now for PS4, PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

One of the coolest features of Rogue Company is crossplay and cross progression. You won’t need to worry if your friend is playing on PC while you are on the Switch. They are all able to link up and all progress is tied to your account. Should you want to move to PC from PS4 or vise versa, all of your progress and items move with you. The choice of system is all in your hands. As a streamer, this is a great tool. Not only does it help broaden the other streamers you can play with, but also allows the community to join in as well. As long as they have the game, you are good to go.

There you have it! As a streamer, now is a great time to get started because there are so many unique and fun games available to play. All of the above games would be great for viewer engagement and for establishing fun uses for your channel points. If you have other games that you think we should feature for September’s Best Games, let us know in the comments below and we will take a look!

As always, keep on creating and GLHF!
